• Below are detailed descriptions of the features that make the Virtuoso stand out from other grinders in its class.
Precise, commercial-quality burrs:
Made in Italy, the virtuoso of burrs are of the same material and durability as the highest quality line of commercial conical grinder Burr. Slow rotating blades, reduce heat to beans, to preserve the flavor.
Innovative burr calibration system:
The Virtuoso has 40 different grind settings from espresso to French press coffee. An innovative calibration system virtually eliminates grind variation and ensures identical performance in each mill. Whether in commercial applications, semi-professional or personal, exact grind is imperative to the extraction of high quality and, consequently, a good cup of coffee.
The Virtuoso boasts an enhanced anti-static design, which minimizes messy coffee dust. While no coffee grinder is completely dust-free, the Virtuoso sets a new standard for minimal dust in this class of coffee grinder.
The powerful, high torque DC motor turns slowly resulting in cool, quiet operation and permitting long grinding duty-cycles without the motor overheating. For ultimate protection, the circuitry is equipped with an automatically resetting, thermal cutoff switch.
The best feature is its anti-static quality which means that coffee ground spills are now a thing of the past! In addition, the grind is very easy to enter and exit the machine and consistency of the grind is excellent.
This machine produces consistently fine grind. There have been complaints about the timer handle is lifted. Yes it happens from time to time, but you just make sure if pressed completely every time. Not a big problem. I would like to see a more precise time, but not an easy thing to do with rotation timer. For griding in a precise time, use the botton on the front. For convenience, use the timer.
On the negative side, I had to remove the burrs and clean the wheel when we received the machine. Not very well machined, metal edges and particles were present. I worked on the rough edges flaked possible to prevent grit from entering the grounds.
This machine is a little unpolished on the externals, but a good coffee grinder nonetheless. I still recommend this machine to any avid coffee lover out there.
